How to easily create website mockups and wireframes

One of the most important parts of designing a website is clearly communicating your ideas for the site layout. Often you have an idea of how you want it to look but you don’t have the software or design skills to build a decent mockup and sometimes you just need to see your idea before you can tell if it’s a good one or not.

You may sketch something out, send links to other sites you like and don’t like or send emails trying to describe your vision. Well there is a much better way!

A wireframe is essentially a blueprint of what your site will look like. And now Mockingbird has developed a very easy to use web based tool for creating and sharing your wireframes.  Simply drag and drop the different site elements you need (maps, videos, text, toolbars, buttons, and more!)

Here is a screenshot showing a wireframe mockup that we made in about 2-minutes!

  • No web design knowledge needed!
  • No software to download, work in your browser!
  • All the user interface elements and web apps you need!
  • Create multiple pages and links!
  • Easy to share with your designer or colleagues
  • It’s FREE!

When developing a  website design for our clients, we spend a lot of time on the creative brief and ensuring we develop a site that meets and exceeds our clients vision and expectations. If you have a design or layout in mind, this is the perfect tool to develop and share those thoughts. Try it now.

PRODUCT CATALOG – Spray-N-Grow

We design and layout this 32-page full color catalog for our client, Spray-N-Grow. When you print over 400,000 catalogs 3-times a year, you want to make sure you get everything right. To make sure we get it just right, we perform a detailed square-inch analysis on the catalog. At MODassic we believe in the balance of design and analytic. Therefore, we don’t just design a great looking catalog and call it a day. We carefully compare each product’s total sales to the amount of space it is allocated in the catalog. This tedious process provides valuable insight into the adjustments that need to be made.
